A story for every
brave little one

Does your toddler cling to your leg at drop-off? Does their lip wobble even when they're trying so hard to be okay? They're not alone — and neither are you.

Marcy Goes to Daycare follows a little girl through her very first day — the wiggly tummy, the "No go, Mommy!", the comfort of her bunny Carrot, and the moment she discovers she can do a hard thing.

Written by a TBRI® Practitioner with deep expertise in trauma-informed care and attachment, every page is designed to validate, comfort, and build emotional bravery — in language little ones truly understand.

Why Marcy is different

Most children's books tell kids to be brave. Marcy shows them how — with warmth, research, and a bunny.

🧠

Trauma-Informed

Written by a TBRI® Practitioner. Every interaction in the story models co-regulation, secure attachment, and emotionally attuned caregiving — not just "you'll be fine."

🐰

Developmentally real

Marcy's experience — the wiggly tummy, hiding under the blanket, the wobbling lip — mirrors what toddlers actually feel. Children see themselves on every page.

💛

For caregivers too

Includes a Caregiver Guide in the back matter with five research-backed strategies for easing drop-off tears — plus a free printable activity pack at launch.
